One book Movement

I was commissioned to create a logo for One book Movement.

One book Movement is a non-profit organization, established by a group of youth in the community of Malabon city with a compassion to serve, which aims generally to build a long term literacy program with great stability and is effective in nurturing children’s intelligence and developing their potentials. It will cater also to a wider bracket eventually as it expands but
basically, the main objective of this initiative is to motivate the whole community to be inclined in a productive endeavor particularly in academics, music and sports

Tomsilog Promotional Ad

Last semester, I was commissioned by the executive producer of
Tomsilog, a radio talk show aired by the Tomasian Cable Television,
to make a 15 seconder ad for the promotion of their show.

Quadricentennial Poster

A short notice homework in our Desktop Publishing subject which messed up my mental planner. Our professor commissioned the class to made a poster for the quadricentennial celebration of the University of Santo Tomas but his instructions lack specifications to include in the poster. So here goes the flow of my freehand.

"U-turn me on" T-shirt Design

The concept just popped out of my mind while I was traveling along the length of commonwealth avenue, riding a commuter FX. Long travel time really lets your crazy mind and wild ideas flow. Halfway of finishing this design, the software I'm using crashed. Just great. Fortunately, I am in a good mood and still motivated to begin another attempt and finish it during the outflow of my creativity orgasms. And there you go! I hope you'll like it and make me rich someday :)

Defiance

Defying the Gods simply means discontentment.
A God is a Supreme Being. There are no other that is far greater than the omnipotence of a God. Aiming to surpass God is humanely unreachable, no creature exceeds its creator. Yet, this arbitrary fact can serve as the fuel to strive harder and harder, farther and farther, unleashing one's potential up to its fullest capacity or better yet extend it.

The boundaries of Aspiration is as far as what can be grasped or what can be known, hence, it is completely unnecessary to put a lesser limit on it. Thus, a great sense of fulfillment can be felt because it is realized in self that all the best was given out without holding back.

However, one must consider also the way of acquiring own's ambition. It is not all about the goal alone. It is also important that while getting into the destination, the journey itself is appreciated. So wherever the adventure stops, fate is happily accepted, rewarded with self-fulfillment.

Gray Man

"A Gray man is one who experienced the depth of loneliness and the height of happiness." -- This is a statement I heard from my professor who was also a practicing lawyer which bestowed him the everlasting impression of his legendary literary professor and a flat 1.0 in his report card for two semesters. He answered it not with rationalization but by using resourcefulness as he have heard it while walking on the corridor from the babbling students who belong to his professor's prior class.

Two colossal figures, the storyteller and his professor who was included in the story motivates me to wonder about the gray man. Why is it called as it is? Why is it named like that? Where is its derivation? The answer is... color primarily, but among the shades and hues why is it the one used as metaphor. Having that very powerful description, Why is it represented by an unattractive chrome?

And here's the product of my reflection.. (which maybe called also as realization)

Gray is a color. As dull as it looks but it is the product of two chroma, the Black and the White. These two chroma are the extremes of all colors, white being the purest and black as the darkest.

So, it would take one to experience the extremes of life to become a Gray man.
Might be the reason why this color is not favored frequently because being a gray man is truly extraordinary and it would took a deep sense of understanding to appreciate this color.

Rector's Report staffer ID Design

I was commissioned in an ambush moments after just finishing a job earlier. My superior suddenly called at my mobile phone and order me to made a design for the upcoming Rector's Report. Unexpectedly, I have finished it with less than two hours including the conceptualization and surprisingly it resulted in an awesome output. I was Orgasmicly fulfilled with this assignment.

ThomasianNewsBites(TNB) Logo Study

After joining TOMCAT(Tomasian Cable Television), a recognized university-wide student organization under the Educational Technology Center and the closed-circuit cable television network of the University of Santo Tomas, where I'm studying, I was commissioned by my superior to make a logo study with 5 different designs for the running program Thomasian News Bites(TNB). And Here's my first attempt:[click on the image to enlarge]




Subsequent by the time it has been checked and reviewed, my superior likes design 2 and 4 and suggested to me to merge the two. And here's the result when I've got it fused, check it out!



My superior was very pleased with my revision and just days after, the logo was used for the program. Felt great! I considered this as a productive achievement!
Thomasian News Bites is the premier news and current affairs program shown in the whole university. It is aired weekdays during lunch time at 12 noon. Tune in and don't be hesitant to shout "Gawa ni Eros 'yan ha!" when you see the logo. \m/

SM Supermarket Banners

What you see above was a task given to me during my internship at SLG ad agency last summer. Our client, SM Supermarket, is celebrating their 25th Anniversary. I was given an order to made a layout of their promo banners starting from scratch. Guided only by the client's instructions, and after an extensive Google image searches.. Wala! I was able to come up with these three designs. So if you've seen any of these banners at any SM Supermarket branch nationwide, don't hesitate to shout "Gawa ni Eros 'yan ha!".

My proposed design for our agency in our Integrated Marketing Communications Class.
I still got a little hung over of Alcohol while i'm making this but not in a painful headache, maybe an aftershock of an under the influence person's mental condition. Oh well I'll just revise the description when I'm back to normal.

Handang sumaklolo sa oras na tulog na ang mga tanod. Kaso wala pa siyang pangalan kaya hindi makapanawagan ang mga nangangailangan. Tulungan natin siyang mag-isip ng kanyang pangalan upang masimulan niya na ang kanyang misyon sa lalong madaling panahon. :-)

A test of my freshly installed software Adobe Premiere CS4, which its serial code I just cracked recently (Muahahaha pwede na 'kong maging swindler). Featuring my own voice. The audio is a requirement in our radio prod class, and I became too overwhelmed of what I've done that's why I made a video out of it. Enjoy whoever you are who can relate watching. :-)

Sokbu sa sariwang software na kaiinstall ko lang. Matagumpay ako sa pag-crack ng serial code nito, pwede na kong maging manggagancho kaya mag-iingat kayo Muhahahaha!
