The Fear of Death

How I wish I would die.
I want to cross the boundaries between life and death. I want to gain the knowledge that dead people have which the alive ones are ignorant of. I want to wander to a place which is widely-known as another dimension. I want to uncover the mystery behind and answer the question "what lies ahead?". But there is one definite consequence regarding death, and that is, there is no turning back. No more second chances to life. A touch- move decision which I would take a risk for the sole reason of enlightenment.
Many are afraid to die but I am one of those few that are not. What I fear is the suffering before totally committing it. I do not like enduring pain at all. If it would be an instant death, I would happily accept. However, maybe, that suffering is a form of punishment and everyone must undergo that stage to repent from all mistakes.--- Before achieving tranquility, one must face a great trial in life.
There are reasons why death is feared by the majority and one is discontentment. People are unsatisfied and yet to achieve their ultimate desires. They cannot afford to leave this world unaccomplished of their activities.
Another is the Embracement to materialism. This attachment to material possessions obstructs liberation from temporality. Next is the Fear of the unknown. Uncertainty of subsequent happening brings unsecuredness.

My sister asked me a favor to help with(actually to do) her assignment in their computer subject on executing flash animation. Lucky of her I was also finding an excuse to escape reviewing for our preliminary exams. What you saw above is the outcome. One of my early attempts in flash animation. :-)

Adidas Urban Footwear

My self-made adidas print ad. This was shot using a Nokia express music mobilephone camera during a walk in our own street. Only a few adjustments on the tone and contrast was made then I patch up the logo and added the caption.

Trivia:
Here in our country, the Philippines, not a single part of a chicken is wasted nor put into trash except its bones. The chicken's whole anatomy is simply irresistable to every Pinoy's appetite. Even its head/neck and its feet was not given pardon by their stomachs. And the best way to prepare the two is through the cooking method of grilling. The grilled chicken feet is called adidas, coined from adidas' sportswear original logo, both resembles similar shape.

This is a take home christmas vacation project in our Advertising class.
It was a lot of fun. Finished by merely just few hours in the afternoon with a ghetto set-up, using only a netbook built-in microphone as our recording instrument and Audacity (audio-editing software) as our polishing companion. Nice working with Erwin who have just climbed down a mountain recently before new year's eve. A joyful production to start the year.
